Honeycloud stepped up to the fresh-kill pile, snatching a squirrel. With tinkering little paws carried her small body to a shady spot, where she laid down. A few swift bites and the squirrel was gone, filling her belly. It was a nice feeling. Her pink tongue licked her paws, soon sending them over her face to clean it. Her eyes scoped out the camp. She felt alone just laying there.
Her maw parted as she let out a soft yawn. The sun was high in the blue sky. The pale yellow orb barely warming the world beneath it. Honeycloud rested her head on her little paws, orbs wide as she looked to the sky as if for guidance... as if it could help. If only the sky could give her guidance. Honeycloud hadn't realized how lost she was in her own thoughts.

Lionstar padded slowly back into camp with a mouse in his jaws, the delicious scent flooded his senses and he barely noticed Honeycloud laying down beside the fresh-kill pile. He gently laid the mouse on the ground and flopped down beside Honeycloud, he was impressed by how relaxed she was when all the warriors were so weak. It felt like BreezeClan had hit rock bottom, but the prey was slowly starting to run again, just a little to slow. He swallowed the mouse in a few famished gulps, he started to like his massive paws before he looked up at Honeycloud. "Hello Loyal deputy" he meowed amusement sparkling in his eyes.

Honeycloud thought she heard something beside her, only to realize she was correct as she heard her leader's words. Her gaze went over to the tom, her eyes wide and soon overthrown with joy. "Hello Brave leader." She mewed with a light amusement tinted in her voice. Her tail swished from side-to-side as she looked at him. He seemed to be in a good mood, even with the problems they were going through. At least he wasn't drowning in stress like most cats would be.

Lionstar's eyes blinked with sorrow, the clans were thriving and they were...well they weren't. He looked at Honeycloud with admiration in his eyes, he had always looked up to the she-cat, she was a very young cat for a deputy, but she was good at her job. They had alot in common too, both of her parents had died and so had his. He swatted a ball of moss that must of fallen when he was switching his moss bedding earlier today. He batted it in the air and it landed on Honeycloud's head. He let out a mrrrow of laughter.

Were things going to get better for the clans? It seemed like all was lost. Her thoughts were cut short as a mossball landed on her head. She looked up at her leader, eyes narrowed playfully. There was a sudden kit-like feeling rushing through her, the sudden urge to play. Honeycloud stood on her paws, letting the moss fall from her head. With a mighty paw, she smacked at it, only to miss and fall to the ground. She just had to embarrass herself in front of her leader didn't she? She admired him, they were very similar, and screwing up in front of him was out of the question.

Lionstar jumped to his paws and watched as his deputy fell tot he ground. Thinking quickly he leaped on top of her and pinned her to the ground with a massive paw. He then released her and meowed "Bet you can't catch me." He speed off out of the camp and raced through the trees, not even bothering to look behind him afraid she would be close and pin him to the ground. Then he heard paw steps behind him and he pushed his paws to the limit.

She felt a massive paw on her, pinning her to the ground. She listened to his words and soon felt the paw lifted from her body. The soft thump of his paws slowly ebbed away as he ran off. Honeycloud only got to her paws, speeding off after him. Her small body dodged tree after tree as she tried to catch up with him. She could see the orange fur in front of her, and that sight only edged her on, pushing her tinkering paws as hard as she could. "I'm going to catch you!" She called as she slowly made her way through the trees. Honeycloud felt her paws slip under her body, almost making her fall, but she raked her claws into the ground to keep her moving. She was determined to catch up to him, even with her stubby legs.

Lionstar could feel Honeycloud right behind him, he turned eruptly and headed back toward the camp. "'If I make it make to campw ithout you pinning me down then I win" he meowed as he sped off. He dodged a tree that nearly took his ear off, he needed to be more careful. Suddely he saw the camp entrance ahead so he skidded to a stop hoping Honeycloud would crash into him.

Her paws carried her as fast as she could go as she heard his words. There was no way she would let him win. She ran at him, not even noticing her had stopped. As his figure got more defined she realized he wasn't moving. Too late... Honeycloud tried stopping, but all she could do was skid around. Before long she smacked right into him. She sat back on her haunches, her head spinning violently. "Why did you stop? That hurt..." She mewed, her voice small, kit-like. It felt like the world beneath her paws was spinning. She wondered if he had planned this. It seemed like a Lionstar-like plan. Honeycloud gave her head a light shake, stopping everything from spinning, the orange fluff-ball clear in front of her. She would get her rather playful revenge some way.

"Owww you ahve a hard head" he meowed running a paw over his head. Without saying anything he sped ohh into camp and laid back down by his den. He waited for Honeycloud to come by him, then he would attack her by surprise. Suddenly he laughed at himself, he was thinking like a kit, part of him was screaming your a leader not a kit, but the other half was saying attack her when she comes close!

She let out a sigh as he commented on her hard head. He was the giant fluff-ball, no? She heard him scamper off and slowly got to her paws. Now that wasn't very leader-like... Honeycloud only felt a devious smile come across her. Her paws allowed her to tinker into camp, soon crouching down, stalking her way to his den. She crouched outside the entrance, wonder if it was safe to venture inside. "Lionstar, I think you should get out here! Quick!" She wailed, making it sound desperate. Honeycloud would get him out, and as soon as he stepped paw outside that den, she would tackle him to the ground. It would be her way of getting back at him. Her yellow eyes looked to her paws as she waited silently, almost impatiently. She thought about running in there, but that's what he wanted her to do.

Lionstar peeked through the palm leaves that surrouned his den, making sure HoneyCloud couldn't see him he checked to see what was wrong. He saw her waiting outside the den, waiting to leap when he came out, "Oh no you don't " he though. He tensed his muscles and sprang out of the den and landed on top of Honeyclopud, raking her stomach with his paws and his claw sheathed, then he pinned her down and smiled. "Gotcha" he meowed putting pressure just to make sure she couldn't get free unless he wanted her to.

Her heart sped up as she watched him step out. Her muscles tensed as she got ready to spring, only then she felt his weight on top of her. A yowl escaped her vocals as she was soon pinned down. Honeycloud looked up at him, eyes wide. With a look of fake annoyance she looked away from her leader, letting out a huff. "What's all this about?" She asked teasingly as she looked back at him, a glimmer of joy in her eyes. She didn't even try to move, get away from his grasp. It would be useless. Her heart raced for some odd reason, impatient to see what would happen next. Honeycloud wasn't aware that her leader could be such a kit at times. That was another thing they had in common... There were too many things to list.

Dustywing watched the opposite side of camp. Jealousy sparkled in her dark eyes as she stood up and stalked over. With each step she felt annoyance prickle deeply in her pelt. She alshed her tail, her eyes narrowed into tiny, dangerous slits. "Well." She emwed, her voice sharp with venom. "While you two kits play around here, i'll be doing what actually needs to be done...like hunt and patrol the borders."
Though her words were nasty she could help but feel her heart twist in pain. She glanced voer at Honeycloud, giving her icey cold look. She didn't care at the moment whether she had disrespected the elader and deputy or not. Things had to get done and it seemed like she was the only cat around mature enough to do it.
