Talking to Lionstar

Dustywing walked into Lionstar's den, she sat down. "Lionstar, would you like me to go hunting...or would you like to come?" she asked, hoping he would say yes.

[/b][/color] the deputy greeted, "are you looking for Lionstar?"
Bluefur wondered if it was right to call the leader at this time, why hadn't he answered or heard us. The small she-cat bent her boney hind legs sitting down and tried to see what was happening in the den.
"Dustywing, may I ask, why are you here? Is there something you are looking for from Lionstar?," she asked and her beautiful saphire eyes seemed to flash at the warrior.[/size]

Dustywing stiffled a ground. She hated it when cats asked her what she was doing. She unsheathed her claws and sanked them into ground. Not only was she asking her what she was doing...but it was the deputy! She turned her eyes toward Bluefur, trying not to let her anger show. "I'm hear to talk to Lionstar" she mewed roughly, her eyes galncing back toward the den. "It's important..." Her eyes narrowed. She had never really taken a liking to Bluefur. The deputy, she thought was a little too young, still apprenticed aged. Too littly expierance to be the deputy. Dustywing herself was twentytwo moons, but she was named a warrior yound, at ten moons. Though, she had excelled in her training, unlike her fellow apprentices, who took a few more moons of training. She snorted and added. "What i have to say is for Lionstar's ears only." She stopped, saying her last remark as if not to invite any more conversation.

The small she cat with bright eyes did not flinch from the warrior's rough voice, instead she had just stood there staring at Dustywing with a boring expression in her eyes. Bluefur began to feel something unpleasant about Dustywing. A feeling of great anger seemed to form in her slim body and mind. She knew it, Dustywing hated Bluefur since she became deputy, was it jelousy? The blue she cats shoulder sunk down low from her anger and her body was now relaxed, releasing the anger silently.

"Important you say," suddenly her moderate low female voice turned tense,"don't speak to me like that again."

Her gentle blue eyes turned into small and scary slits. She stood up spun around and walked away with her tail swishing furiously behind her. The blue figure slipped away into the towering hills of sand.

Dustywing hissed at her. " I can speak to you however i please!" She snarled, her tail flicking impatiently. She felt her pelt begin to bristle, and she unsheathed her claws once again, and this time left long score marks in the earth. "No cat talks to me that way!" She snarled, curling her lip up in disgust. She never liked it when cats tried to get into her buisness, it made her temper rise and thats when she got nasty.

[LionStar]

Lionstar padded out of his den, with his neck fur on end. "Dustywing, Bluefur" he snarled giving them a disapproving stare. "Dustywing, she is the deputy of this clan and she will speak to you as she pleases" he meowed. He turned to Bluefur and flicked his tail impatiently. "As for you, sometimes you don't need to know everything happening in this clan." He flipped around and walked to the fresh kill pile, picking up a nice water-vole he flipped around and stalked back into his den. "Dustywing please come in" he meowed quietly after a few moments."

Dustywing watched as he grabbed a water vole, then she walked in behind him. She didn't actually have anything truly important to say, she just liked Lionstar, she always had ever since they were little. "Ehh..." She started off, trying to think of something to say. "Prey is running well...and...umm...our borders are all good, no other scents." She mewed, replaying ehr words in her mind after she spoke them. "I was uhh..wondering, if you'd like to...go hunting with me later?" She asked, fidgeting around on the ground with her apws, praying to Starclan he would say yes.

[LionStar]

Lionstar leaned down to take a bit of his water-vole, gulping it down quickly he looked up at Dustywing. "Very good Dustywing, later we may need to renew the scent markers, you know how pesky Nightclan can be" he meowed. "Yes, I would love to go hunting, we can also renew the scent marker along the way." He stood up and pawed the rest of the water-vole towards her. "Eat before we go" he meowed.

Dustywing nodded, using her paws to pull it a bit clsoer. She finished it off in a few famished gulps before standing up and licking her chest. "Well, let's go whenever you are ready." She emwed, straightening her posture.

[LionStar]

Lionsatr stood up and padded out of his den, heading for the entrance. He slowed as he waited for Dustywing to catch up. "Hurry up before we caught on the dawn patrol" he meowed,, whiskers twitching with amusement.

Dustywing nodded, trotting briskly after him, her eyes glowing with as hint of darkness as well as amusement. She ahd always been a hard one to understand, especially because of her mood swings and indecisiveness.

Lionstar padded slowly out of camp and closer to the Nightclan border, for some reason it felt like the border was calling him closer and closer, he ruffled his pelt as a chill went down his spine. "You may have first catch" he meowed to Dustywing gestering with his tail towards a mouse nibbling on a nut under a birch-tree.

Dustywing balanced perfectly on her legs, her haunches rocking back and forth as she stalked up to make the kill. She stepped lightly on her small paws, inching her way towards the small creature. In a flash she lunged forward, whacking the mouse into the air with her paws and killing it with a quick snap of her jaws.
